Dude, it freaks me out too. I have a Wizkid More Love Shirt enough time taking care of him and making sure his needs are met and I’m 40 with 3 other kids from my ex-wife. Odds are 99% of the time things will go relatively well-enough if her oldest watched our son for an extended period of time by himself. And by that I mean, no injuries (beyond diaper rash or other temporary conditions) or death and his basic needs being taken care of. This kid, the 13 year old, literally turned the stovetop on to make ramen the other day while I was there and went back to his room and closed the door. I had to remind him that his water was boiling 5 minutes later. That’s to be expected, because he’s 13, but I would also expect him to treat our own son with the same irresponsible absentmindedness… What’s additionally worrisome about the situation is that the 13 year old has been spending more time taking care of his middle half-brother, who’s 4 from another father, than their mom has since he was 3 and the oldest being 12. My ex is totally grooming her oldest to be the de-facto parent in her absence while she’s at work and until recently her middle son was being fed nothing but junk food while she was away. It’s turned into a Lord of the Flies situation with her middle son, where the oldest kid is raising him and there just isn’t a lot of actual parenting occurring.

At this point I suspect everything is corporate ploys to bring back slavery. They are training kids to think slavery had benefits. I get it’s the racists who are the Wizkid More Love Shirt of his fight, but I wouldn’t put it past the oligarchs to use the dipshit racists to bring about their and our own doom. we’ve seen how much damage incremental regression can be as so much that we thought was settled is now what people want. Kids working in factories again? people getting their dicks so hard about it now.

Honestly this is disgusting but like all things it comes down to a matter of poor writing of Wizkid More Love Shirt. Skilled Trades for slaves were one of the only options they had for making enough of their own money to buy their freedom. In the literal sense of the word this was a personal benefit (when compared to other slaves specifically). Enslaved people also had a very strong oral tradition so any person who became a skilled laborer was able to pass some of that knowledge down. Those skills were vital in escaping slavery. An uneducated slave had far worse odds escaping than an educated slave. Towards the end of Slavery it’s also quite possible that many slaves with trade skills were able to get better access to resources using their knowledge. I doubt there is a single person here who would honestly say being educated isn’t a personal benefit. Whether it be passing down your knowledge so your kids can escape Slavery or using it to escape yourself. These skills gave enslaved people a chance of freedom they wouldn’t have without it. With all that said. Poorly written curriculum and it’s just another example of shitty government policy writing. Slavery was terrible no educated person is arguing against that. Sadly though the world isn’t black and white so it’s factually incorrect to say slaves had no benefit from skilled labor. It’s a matter of looking at it from the perspective of the people we’re talking about. I’m quite confident that any form of education was sacred to a group of people deprived of humanity.
