I’ll probably get crucified for saying this but I think this whole pronoun thing is ridiculous. For what it’s worth I have two trans friends, one MtF and one FtM and both of them have commented that they don’t like the pronoun thing. Their goal is to pass and have people assume their gender without having to be told, and when someone asks for their pronouns it makes them feel like they don’t pass. Personally as a Yeah I’m Into Ddr Divorced Dad Rock shirt I also find it annoying because it’s an extra thing to deal with and I’d rather people just assume, if somebody gets it wrong I might correct them, or I might let it slide, whatever. To me it just seems like virtue signalling and well meaning people that take it upon themselves to be “helpful” when nobody asked for help. It’s a lot like handicapped people, most of them just want to go about their lives and not have people draw attention to their disability

I say “appears” because she’s never admitted to doing therapy, but she has grown and changed and said things in very “therapy” kind of ways, if that makes sense; I just don’t see how it all happened without therapy. ANYWAY, the Yeah I’m Into Ddr Divorced Dad Rock shirt for all that growth and change is that we got to a point where I made it clear to her that if she DIDN’T grow and change, we would have no relationship. And despite the fact that she did grow and change beyond any expectation I had, I will always, always, ALWAYS remember that it didn’t happen until her options were 1) Do this or 2) lose your relationship with your only child. Additionally, I know how socially conscious my mom is. I do NOT know how much of her not wanting to lose me was because of love for me vs the social blow she would have suffered. So while I do appreciate all the Yeah I’m Into Ddr Divorced Dad Rock shirt, I will never trust that it is real, nor will I ever know if she did it for the “right” reasons (and I have reasons to believe from things she’s said over the years that it definitely isn’t fully real, or coming from a good place). Even if she did literally everything perfectly (and she’s still far from perfect), I will never be able to fully believe it comes from a Yeah I’m Into Ddr Divorced Dad Rock shirt of love and wanting to be good to me
