There is no better, or cuter place to begin than with Baby Groot, who is again played by Vin Diesel. Yes after Groot sacraficed his life for his friends in Guardians Vol. 1, he now has respwaned a baby. And yes, whilst I thought he was a liability to the team, he was cute in certain moments. I loved in the first battle when he was dancing, whilst the rest of the Guardians were being thrown around and destroyed. I liked it when he yelled in the Rocket/Yondu escape scene. But probably my favourite moment with Baby Groot- was when he was taking the bomb to Ego’s brain and started crying like a baby when the walls started to close in on themselves. That was just perfect. They never overused Baby Groot which was good, and I am really excited for Teenager Groot in Avengers: Infinity War, because he was amazing in the post credits scenes. Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff, was perfect. She seems like a good addition to the Guardians. Her power set was quite interesting and I loved her dynamic with Drax majority of the time. She was also quite funny and brought about some of the truly funny moments of the film. Her costume and look was perfect to the comics. Well done James Gunn.

To be extremely honest, before I go studying abroad, I didn’t like pho at all!! I didn’t like eating pho because 1. I thought pho was super overrated at that Work made us coworkers but our potty mouths and inappropriate conversations made us friends shirt ; and 2. there are so many good dishes besides pho so I didn’t eat pho that much. After I came to the US to study, I missed Vietnamese cuisine so much!! I remember craving for Vietnamese food and even watching videos of people eating Vietnamese food every single day. And while i was watching all those videos, do you know what i missed the most? I missed my least favorite dish – pho the most, surprisingly, which was so dang weird I cannot even explain why!! The next morning, I told my housemate to take me and my sister to a Vietnamese restaurant to literally “satisfy my desire” for pho. When i was in the restaurant, I could smell the pho aroma and it was hella good, nostalgic and I felt like i could cry anytime because I missed eating pho so much.
