The biggest problem with being tall and skinny, is that suddenly everything costs MONEY. You spend loads on delivery, ordering stuff back and forth if it doesn’t fit. You have to buy a shirt that only fits in length, then have to take it in EVERYWHERE. You can go MTM, but that’s mostly for business/business casual clothing and doesn’t offer a whole lot for the very casual dresser like me (I’ve found Proper Cloth are really good for flannels/denim shirts though). Add onto this the fact my eczema means I can only wear 100% cotton t-shirts, I end up spending a stupid amount of money just buying a simple t-shirt compared to your average joe. My washing habits are: 30C, low spin cycle, dry on a hanger or on a clothing line. It’s a pain but I’m not touching the dryer with my life. Anyway, to conclude my dude, start saving and get ready to spend $$$ to look good, because we have a weird body shape we have to start branching out in specialist, custom and tailored clothes.
