Omg I too have dodgy eyes – strabismus. I was born completely cross eyed. My first operation was in 1977 when I was 8 months old. My youngest has mild strabismus and is severely deaf. I’ve explained that people will judge and even reject you because of your differences, but who wants to be friends with people like that? And the fact that I tell myself I like men, rather than masculine people with cocks? Like… men is a made up phenomena. It doesn’t actually refer to anything. There are men shorter than women, men less aggressive than women, men with less testosterone, more oestrogen, no sperm, longer hair, bigger hips, better at cleaning… and yet we still “know” that they’re men and we are shocked if we see one wearing “women’s” clothes? It’s shameful for a man to do womanly things? Women are butch or bossy or boring or lesbian or angry or unfulfilled if they do manly things? It’s the same goddamn things. It doesn’t have to be this way. You can still fuck who you’re attracted to and still wear what you want – no-ones making you wear makeup or take it up the ass or grow a Ugly Christmas t shirt, Cardi B All I Want for Christmas is Shmoney Unisex t shirt – but you don’t have to call yourself something and group yourself in with 50% of the population against the other 50%. Until they found out I was a dude, and immediately stopped. I slowly changed my vocabulary and habits and nothing so overt has happened in years, but lesser things have popped up as recently as a couple years ago, and nobody should have to change their personality to not got dick picks. One of the great and terrible things of the internet is that it’s actually really easy to get some perspective. Anonymity is a double edged sword.
