For example, people didn’t fall in love with Marvel movies because they were different than what other companies proposed but because they were a bunch of pretty good stories. When the initial shock about interconnectivity started to fade away people still flocked to the cinemas because of the story quality. I don’t see it happening again. Not because I don’t like the topics. They are not at the same level of quality as before. And it is not just Marvel. Another example is Doctor Who. There is a noticeable drop in the quality of the storytelling that happens after the change of the showrunner and coincidentally lead performer. People assume that the drop in viewership is happening because of the Doctor being a woman now but it is not a problem for most of the fans. The problem is awful writing and directing done to the show on purpose or out of laziness. The show tries to shoehorn messages that are important in this day and age but does it so badly that it harms the cause. More and more fans are realizing it and slowly loose interest in a show that has kept them entertained for decades. In conclusion, I don’t understand the long-term vision and plan of those companies that try to play with today’s important topics badly. I cannot fathom that they are so focused on themselves that they are intentionally sinking the boat they are on just for some short-term gains. They are supposed to be smart.

I still have a lot of GI issues (tons of bloating and cramping pretty much whenever I eat) that I control with daily medication, but at least the constipation’s over.
