If I’m looking at this game on paper it’s hard to see Penn State’s point of attack. OSU holds its opponents to 61% of their per-game rushing yardage and 71% of their per-game passing yardage. Seriously, cue up a highlight reel from basically any OSU game, and you’re gonna see someone with about a 20-yard cushion of space catching an easy TD. It’s absurd, and I honestly think Chris Olave is getting a little disrespected nationally. So anyway, all that being considered, {Ohio State} barely squeaks it out, 27-24, because Penn State does shit like that and it raises my blood pressure every single year.

Penn State offense is explosive. Everyone should know this from last year’s big plays. However, will he have enough time to set up and look through his reads? UM bring in a front seven that can create pressure and PSU’s offensive line doesn’t look like it can stop it. The keys to this battle is some adjustments by Penn State. Do they roll the pocket out to give McSorley time to throw the ball? Will they run QB/RB draws to keep the pressure off of him? Look for more short throws this week to not give UM’s front seven time to get to McSorley. This is arguably the biggest test for the Penn State offense and the UM defense.
