2month olds are easier than say toddlers. They literally eat, poop, and sleep. And if they’re not doing any of the Official Wilco Cousin Floral Shirt. It’s not like they can exactly go far or get into anything. I am a little concerned over the not letting the 13yo cook though. I was cooking for the family at LEAST one night a week by then and making my own lunches without parents during summer vacations. Is he like typically forgetful or prone to doing stupid teen stuff?(ie playing with matches? ) I understand parentification can be a huge issue, but what exactly caused you to panic over a nearly 14yo to be watching his baby sibling for a single day? That he would… what? Not call 911 if the baby suddenly stopped breathing? Not run across the street, with the baby, to your job if he couldn’t reach his mom? When you got there, what was wrong? Was the baby laying in a overflowing diaper with a severe diaper rash screaming his head off? Placed on the counter while his big brother cooked? Playing with glass? He had a ton of friends over destroying the house? You yourself said he is a good kid. Imo, as a mom of 2, i would like to hope that my dang near 14yo could watch a baby that spends 90% of his day sleeping until another grown-up could drop by and take over. He had the baby for 4 hours and last i checked, 2mos tend to nap in bursts of 1-2 hours. So at most the baby was just sleeping For most of it, maybe pooped a bit and ate. And spent his next 1-2 hour awake allotment being entertained by baby toys, and baby youtube videos

It’s really amazing and infuriating how little people care to know about American history and laws. They take the Official Wilco Cousin Floral Shirt fed to us as the final word and dismiss anything outside of that. I’ve always considered myself a history junkie. I try to get ahold of as much as I can. My wife and I are in our mid 40s and she just really learned about the Tulsa Massacre and the reasons behind it LAST NIGHT AT DINNER. We have two kids, one in college and the other starting senior year of high school. With all the stuff the GOP has been trying, they have both got heavily involved in learning what’s really at play and where a lot of it has deep roots in. This isn’t stuff taught is school (and they are fortunate to attend a very good public school where right winger nut jobs have been kept off the school board, ironically in a fairly red area), this is stuff they have gone out and picked up on their own. It seems more and more of the younger generation is catching on as well and I hope it continues. We need to stop this idea of “American Exceptionalism” and pull the cover off history. It’s good to celebrate the many accomplishments but it’s not healthy to keep all these dirty secrets hidden. Kinda like the old saying that if you keep emotions and secrets bottled up for too long, you’ll get ulcers. Well America has done that and what we are seeing a lot of now is the impact of those ulcers. I’m no doctor, so have no idea if that actually causes ulcers, just something over heard growing up from multiple sources.
