I don’t think anyone truly wants to be ugly, it’s just that both sides have their advantages. One advantage of being ugly is getting harrassed on the Official Summerslam 2023 Retro Logo Shirt one of being beautiful is that people in general treat you better (on a surface level). One disadvantage of being ugly is that you have a harder time finding someone interested in dating you, one of being beautiful is that you’ll never know if a person is just with you for your looks of if they genuinely like you as a person. When you’re ugly, nobody will touch you, when you’re beautiful people get all touchy-feely. And so on. I’ve been on both sides. I was obese til the age of 14, and while I don’t equate fat to ugly, society and people around you certainly do. I went from being bullied to being catcalled. I’m still all surprised when people are nice to me and look me in the Official Summerslam 2023 Retro Logo Shirt. If you’ve only lived through one experience it’s hard to have sympathy for people’s problems on the other side. I certainly know I was terribly shallow and judgemental when I was overweight, when, ironically, I thought beautiful people were all those very things. This was among the Celts, Gauls, etc. The Romans however chose short hair, for whatever reason I am unaware of right now. In battle short hair is definitely more practical. Long hair thus became ‘barbaric’, and short hair ‘civilized’. The Bible verse, mentioning that it is proper for a man to have short hair, has been written during the Roman Empire, so not unlikely that the writer (Paul) has been influenced by Roman/Greek social & cultural norms. The Official Summerslam 2023 Retro Logo Shirt are said to also have had long blonde hair, many of them, and spend a reasonable amount of time to care for it too. Maybe some medieval male nobility had long hair too, because they could afford it. Most of the male peasantry would’ve had shorter hair, which is more practical for manual labour, and a bit more hygienic too, I guess.
