If there was one thing that I wished never happened, It would be Peter Charrelli trading away a Official Stuart Broad 2006 2023 Thank You For The Memories T Shirt. You look at the players that we got in return and the fact we had to give him up and Rich Peverly who unfortunately only played a few more years because of an undiscovered heart condition. The only one who became a regular NHL player was Riley Smith and that was on a guarantee that he’d be a high level third liner low-level second liner. The other guys never became anything. Loui Erickson was good but but not Seguin good. It was effectively Peverly for prospects and an undeveloped Seguin for Erickson. I can’t help but look back at that trade and wonder how much of Brad Marchand and Patrice bergeron’s primes amongst other players who might otherwise still be here (Lucic (Decent contributor until about 3 years ago), Chara who just retired last year). They probably still would have gotten pasta too. He was the 25th best player in the 14-15 draft, the Bruins were one of the only teams who scouted him And they took him at 22 which is likely roughly where they would have been with or without those trades as in that year they finished First in the Atlantic and lost in the second round in seven to the Canadiens. Now he’s in the Western conference final again, And He’s even been to a Stanley cup with the stars. He still never been a great playoff performer, but their (peter and his staffs) biggest gripe with him was that he didn’t hit back then. He’s still only 31 and he hits now had (two hits) last night and four hits and an assist in game 6. He scored 50 points this year after coming off a significant injury and missing a lot of time last year and a half. The Bruins probably don’t have to rebuild on the fly and they don’t miss the playoffs in 2014-15. Nor do they have the down year The following year, or lose in the first round to the senators. I do think one way or another Cassidy still would have become the coach If only because Claude Julien has a history of wearing out his welcome everywhere he goes. On the bright side Peter Charrelli is no longer in Boston and he’s about to make sure that the penguins suck forever seeing is there so intent on giving him an interview and putting him on their short list

My first NY experience I was 12 years old. It was right before Christmas and I know that for 2 reasons. We saw Titanic opening night and because of all the Official Stuart Broad 2006 2023 Thank You For The Memories T Shirt the tree at Rockefeller center. Anyway, it was pre 9/11 and I was going to visit my older sister (14 years older) that had somewhat recently became a traveling nurse and her first gig was in NYC. Since it was Pre 9/11, my parents were able to go with me all the way to the gate and see that I got on my direct flight. I had a sticker that I think had my name on it and that basically said I was to be chaperoned by one of the flight attendants. Plane took off and landed, and my sister was able to come and be there waiting for me at the arrival gate right as I walked off the plane. Her friend who lived in Jersey and had a car was waiting outside La Guardia to pick us up and give us a ride. I think it was how my sister convinced my parents to let me come because they did not like the idea of me riding in a taxi because they didn’t think taxis had seatbelts. We had a reservation at a German place in NYC famous for crazy Christmas decorations called Rolf’s. Apparently we were running kind of late, so my sister’s friend just dropped us off right at the restaurant and he took my suitcase to my sister’s apartment and dropped it off. Some of my sister’s other friends were already there. It was very cold and I walked inside and it was packed full of people and I had never experienced anything like that in my life as a kid from a small town in Kentucky, but Home Alone and Home Alone 2 at that point were 2 of my favorite movies and I knew I was going to be just fine. Immediately on the right was a bar and this big dude just turned and looked at me with a huge cigar in his mouth and he took the cigar out and exhaled smoke in my direction. I thought it was so cool. I had never stood next to a bar before. I don’t think I had ever even seen anyone drink alcohol yet atleast knowingly. I took a sip of Gluwine when none of the adults were looking and ate some schniztel. It’s pretty much a core memory. Actually went into Rolf’s a few weeks ago because I was in NYC for a concert and my girlriend and I were just wandering around and happened to see it and went in. It was how I remembered it, minus all the people and the cigar smoker.
