I did not miss a Official Buffalo Bills 2023 Rochester Training Camp shirt when I was in high school until 2015. I will still skip work to watch hockey games involving the Bruins. I am self-employed so that makes it a little easier when it comes to moving my schedule around. I’m likely up there in terms of the number of games watched on live broadcast during the years that Peter Charrelli was here If not even still. I do think he was an awful GM. I’m more than entitled to my opinion. Almost all of his moves post 2011 were God awful and Marchand, Kreicji, Lucic and Rask had little to do with him As a scouting on those players was already done before he arrived by other people, he just had to pull the trigger by doing what other people told him to do. Raycroft was god awful in 2006 and got benched despite winning the Calder in 2004. Chara was destined to come to Boston Because the senators signed Wade Redden?!?! instead and therefore couldn’t afford Chara, your old assistant GM suddenly wants you in Boston with a pay raise, That’s easy. The Kelly and Seidenberg trades were truly great. He also traded Chris Versteeg, Ricard Rackell, (both for literal peanuts, both became NHL contributors for several years) and dumped Boychuck because of his poor salary cap management. He also dumped Brad Boyes for a seive In Dennis Wideman who didn’t last in Boston. Trading Blake Wheeler (who is currently enjoying a 15-year career and counting, and was on the same timeline as Marchand and Bergeron, Kreicji ect. The trade involving Wheeler for Rich Peverly was also objectively bad, he could have gotten Rich Peverly for much less and not lost Wheeler. All of this also indicates that he was objectively awful at evaluating young talent. From then on, his moves either handicapped the team financially or he did not get nearly enough assets that he should have in trades. The reality is he had a few good moves that won Boston a cup, and his name will always be on the cup, but we’re evaluating the full picture here not ignoring the majority of it because he’s got his name on Lord Stanley. Yes you do have to evaluate these things from hindsight, however a good manager or general manager in this case with the help of his team has the talent and ability to project the likely growth for a player. All of these young players could have been adequately projected to be good long term, and all of them were already successful in the minors

My first nyc experience was also when I was 11. Memorial Day 2004. Went to the Official Buffalo Bills 2023 Rochester Training Camp shirt, crazy experience. I was a huge Sox fan, and played ball, so naturally wore high Red Sox around town. Got cursed at, talked way too much shit, had a great time of it. Then the Sox beat the Yankees like 17-3 and I felt on top of the world. Talked even more shit to the locals on the train back to mid town. My parents did not appreciate it, but I had a blast. Only reason I didn’t get stabbed was because, I was 11… Definitely saw someone get stabbed outside of the stadium too, for, unrelated reasons I presume. To be fair though, I kinda fell in love with the city just because of how much fun I had making friend enemies, frenimies if you will, that day. Really felt in tune with the vibe nyc puts out.
