I’m not really worried about catching it myself, I spent enough time around immunocompromised people (and 3 months of those compromised myself) to know my preventive measures. There’ll be a meeting today in Rome with the health ministers of those countries who share a border with Italy + Germany to coordinate preventive and active measures. (Germany is only 50 miles away from Italy if you take the shortest route through Tyrol) They quarantined around 80 people working as staff at 2 different hospitals in Austria, because they went on a works outing in Italy last week. Edit: It’s here. 2 confirmed cases. Hospital was well prepared and they called the emergency number instead of heading outside.

Op, I can not appreciate enough how you mentioned those who suffered sexual abuse can get chronic constipation. I have…well, I think is IBS, or NFL Los Angeles Angels Groot Hug Christmas Ugly Sweaterform of it, with constipation that can last weeks, to very sudden urgent diarrhea. I’m not sure the cause of it and currently can’t go to a doctor much, but the doctor said the fact I was sexually abused could have a big toll on it/be the cause. And seeing someone else mention it really solidified for me that it could be a major reason I struggle with this. Sadly I don’t know if I could ever go through with this entire list because a colonoscopy would probably trigger me immensely. But I appreciate the medications and other helpful info for making my life a bit easier!
