As Ultimate comics went on, some of its flaws became more evident. First, the Ncaa Michigan State Spartans Tree Christmas Ugly Christmas Sweater, All Over Print Sweatshirt, Ugly Sweater, Christmas Sweaters, Hoodie, Sweater Ultimate comics had tried to get away from convoluted canon, but after 8 years of material, the cycle had begun again. It wasn’t anywhere near as bad as the main Marvel universe, but the bloat was building up, which translated into lower sales. Another big issue was that (shocking) continuing to keep award winning writing is really hard, especially when the original writers aren’t writing anymore. New writers tried to mimic what earlier creators had done, without understanding any of the meaning behind it. Earlier comics had complex discussions on the nature of violence, and the role sex played in human relationships. And then trying desperately to mimic that, you had got a bunch of gratuitous porn masquerading as being “mature storytelling”, often with some pretty creepy behavior. Comic books are… not exactly known for their realistic depictions of womens bodies, or giving female heroes normal costumes, but Ultimate comics had some exceptionally bad examples. There was also a whole plotline in Ultimates 3 about Tony and Natasha’s sex tape getting leaked, which was shown in graphic detail. The writer for Ultimates 3, as well as the mind of Ultimatum was Jeph Loeb, who will be a very important player in all this. Suffice to say, Loeb’s takeover of the Ultimates (and later the whole universe) was… not great. He was a pretty well regarded writer, who was brought in to try and recreate the success of Marvel’s “mature, semi-grounded” heroes after the original writers left. Unfortunately, he had terrible big picture ideas and somehow even worse execution, leading to stilted (or downright stupid) dialogue. It has the vibe of an edgy fanfic, with boobs and blood shoved in so you know it’s a big boy story. There were also some… less than ideal choices? Black Panther, one of Marvel’s most iconic black superheroes literally had his voice taken away, and was functionally a slave for a while. Oh, and also, he was Captain America the whole time? It was weird.

I’ve been T1D for 27 years and my hypo symptoms have changed slightly over the years. I usually always have cold sweats which is how hubby catches lows when im asleep if my alert dog doesnt get it first, but more recently my lips/tongue get tingly and numb. Didn’t happen for the first 20 years and then blam started happening. Although my target range is 70-140 so I’m not usually symptomatic until I hit 65band lower. All I’m saying is that symptoms change from person to person

Saw another post on here saying someone was stuck on near crabapples. Well I think to myself “Hey, I only live about half a Ncaa Michigan State Spartans Tree Christmas Ugly Christmas Sweater, All Over Print Sweatshirt, Ugly Sweater, Christmas Sweaters, Hoodie, Sweater. I bet I could help this person” and make the decision to go.  He’s been stuck there all day and his clothes got wet from the snow trying to leave so I knew he was in need of help. So I’m getting myself ready. I grab what little gas I have, I grab some food and water in case he needs any, and some new warm clothes and a blanket for him. Then I gear myself up. I put on some thick hiking socks, sweatpants, a backpack to carry my gear, puffy snow pants, a Hanes white tee, 2 sweaters, a jacket, a high vis vest, thick leather winter gloves, insulated winter muck boots, a headband, and a motorcycle helmet to try and combat the snow and wind. So it’s time to head out. It’s about 11pm, wind gusts are still ripping outside and snow drifts can bring the visibility down to zero. The motorcycle helmet is a mixed bag of being a help and having snow stuck in my face, but overall a good choice. Now let me tell you that going to get this man was difficult. I’m a taller man myself so the snow banks weren’t as much of a struggle for me, but unfortunately when the snow drifts go up to my mid thigh and every step has my foot drop all the way down into the snow with no resistance… it leads to just walking becoming a big task in itself. So I’m making my way down the street, and it is difficult. I get that I’m wearing a motorcycle helmet and it’s hard to breath in that, but even when the visor was lifted it was still hard to breathe, not only from the snow constantly blowing in my face but also the fact that it was hard to walk! I’m in decent shape but walking through those drifts is no easy task.
