First off, this was a Michigan Wolverines Hohoho Mickey Christmas Ugly Sweater. Bravo! I read something like 80% of the Ultimate Marvel comics some years back and remember a lot of these crazy developments. You did a great job breaking it all down. Secondly, as bad as Ultimatum was (and oh boy it was bad) I think it did lead to some interesting developments and storylines in the era of the UU afterwards. As you mentioned Spider-Man’s comic still went strong and ended with what I would say is one of the best and most impactful comic book deaths I’ve ever read. And this ending was a new beginning, with Miles Morales taking over and the quality still remaining high (Peter coming back out of nowhere near the end notwithstanding). While I don’t remember much of it, I also like how it affected the Ultimate X-Men series. It wasn’t as great as the original UXM, but it was a status quo change where mutants are now even more hated by the public thanks to Magneto’s actions and the revelation about the mutants’ origin. I vaguely remember this is where they had Ultimate Stryker show up, this time still very much a religious extremist unlike his film counterpart. I don’t remember much about that story but I remember it being a high point in post Ultimatum X-Men.

i believe him because this is happening everywhere right now. i just started working for gamestop customer support for online orders, and you have no idea how many customers have proven that they got entirely the wrong package with their sticker on it. usually the label on the outside is correct, but the inside contains the wrong items and the wrong packing slip with the wrong order number. i got a call the other day where a Michigan Wolverines Hohoho Mickey Christmas Ugly Sweater got a package that contained items for a Beatrice. I sent her a replacement, tried to call Beatrice to ask what she got, turned out Beatrice had also just called us because she got a package for Jessica. Jessica also got the Jessica package. also, a significant number of empty packages. i don’t know why. customers call in like, “hi, this package seemed weirdly light, but i opened it and it was completely empty. please i just wanted pokemon sword.” the fedex shipping weight listed is always like, 0 pounds, so there really was never anything inside. also a video game that was marked as delivered, but stayed on the fedex truck for a month and got crushed under the weight of other packages. the driver finally found it and delivered it to the guy, but the game case and the disc were both broken it is a bad time to order online

It’s bad out. My tracks from just a few minutes ago are all but Michigan Wolverines Hohoho Mickey Christmas Ugly Sweater, but I know the way I’m going so it’s alright. We walk up the road to the cross street and quickly cross the street. It’s hard to see or hear anything so we can’t really tell if a plow is coming so we act fast to try and stay safe. Then we make it to the side street. Well needless to say that street hasn’t been plowed in ages. Snow drifts near my chest and no paths available, so time to trail-blaze and make our own! We need to make it maybe like 9 or 10 houses into the street but with snow like this we are barely progressing at all. I’m dressed for the conditions so I’m only getting tired. The man I’m helping isn’t doing great. Snow is accumulating on his face and he occasionally falls into the snow banks and needs to recover. When we get near houses that block the wind we take a break and relax because we need the energy to make it to this house and can’t give up. We’ll eventually through more struggles we eventually make it to the house. About 0.3 miles in 30 or so minutes. The person living in the house graciously lets us both in. I recover by warming up a little bit, the snow that accumulated on my just starts dripping and melting which I know is a bad sign for me so I make my stop short so I’m not drenched in water on my trek back. The man I helped is very thankful and gets comfortable and warm for the first time in hours. But I can’t stay long so I tell him I’m glad he is safe, thank the homeowner / renter / whoever the man that let me in was.
