You obviously are very aware of the wild amount of wealth you married into and how much it sets you apart. I grew up as an average family around a lot of incredibly wealthy families. The “clueless rich” bit gets pretty tiresome. You know perfectly well what you have, you know that it probably makes a lot of people uncomfortable when you spend lavishly around them, so stop pretending you don’t. If you want to treat people to big gifts then ask them or their parents if they’re comfortable with that – some will be and some won’t. Be respectful of that.
