I was into this super shy guy from work for the Hufflepuff Ugly Christmas Sweater For Men Women, and I FINALLY just got up and sat in his lap and started kissing him after we’d been talking at a party all night long and he’d never made a move. We were together for four years. BUT the funny part is that about 2 weeks later after we’d officially gotten together, we were at work and I went up to him and playfully said “Hey you’re pretty cute, can I buy you dinner later?” And I literally watched his brain overload and panic as he blurted out “Uh actually I have to go home and let my dogs out.” And then we stared at each other for a moment and I said “So that’s what would have happened if I’d used my words instead of just kissing you?” And he was like, “damn, yeah. That was so crazy, I don’t even know where that came from, no girl has ever said something like that to me before I kind of panicked.”

I worked for a company in its pilot plant. We were researching new methods of making a product and new products entirely. We were the basis that the rest of the company worked around. Our successes turned into other plant’s work and the Hufflepuff Ugly Christmas Sweater For Men Women Every year we were fed pizza and given a presentation about just how successful the company was that year and how much profit they made. It was a brag fest for how much money the company made from our work. We were a small team of maybe 30 people. They also gave us a gift to show thanks for our work during this. I went to grab it one day and the handle just fell off on the first use. The next year was a pathetic, small, thin “insulated” lunch bag with the company logo. I actually started looking at companies that sell cheap merch to be branded with your logo. I found the same bag. It was $8. At the time I was using a $10 Walmart house branr bag that made this thing look like a child’s toy. How the fuck does the company think that this is in any way equivalent? They spend half an hour telling us just how critical we were to them making millions of dollars that year, and usually a couple million more than last year, and the most that they can muster as a “thank you” is some shitty branded trash that’s meant to be giveaways at trade shows?
