Oh what a time to be a professor.” Now I don’t want to call her a clout chaser, but I also don’t feel comfortable quite yet calling her an ally. She created a group called Smash Sisters for survivors to speak out, but it was Puppeh’s tweet that started all of this… Seems a little biased towards women. I still want to wait until we hear the accusations before coming to any conclusions surrounding Hbox, but it feels like regardless of the outcome the damage has already been done to his reputation. His response vid played a major part in this too. Especially because melee players have said that back when all this cheating was going on, that Hbox started sympathy baiting before news got out of his actions. But I’m glad he was taken off this list for now though while we wait for more information. If Hbox is considered guilty on the court of public opinion then it will really bum me out because he profited greatly on Twitch in the midst of all these allegations going on. Nairo left a huge void on that platform. But if Hbox is considered innocent that will also bum me out because I don’t like the thought of outside forces coming into a broken community and using them to further their own careers. The people in this community are hurting enough right now. The last thing we need is outside people who have have never even played Smash before to come here just so they can hyper judge, cast insults, and paint the community with a single brush. Edit; Hungrybox has been readded to the list for some reason. Still no new information. 2nd Edit; Hbox is in communications with at least some of the women in question.
