nailed it! the HOME NCAA UTAH UTES that made me quit buying comics around 2000, all spelled out in detail. basically BAD writing and writing or shock value only made it insanely bad. I want the heroes of 616. (also the 616 costumes in teh movies, not these shitty ones we keep getting.) Maybe I am in the minority, but I think younger readers are missing a lot of GOOD stories and models of how to be good and heroic that our society NEEDS badly right now. Excellent point. things were NOT MEANT to be interconnected, and it destroys credibility and continuity. It’s bad. so bad. I hope they will find good writers someday, but dan didio or whoever i sin charge now seem to not be interested in having HEROES and telling good stories. It is INSANE to have every story line about universe threatening events, too. DC followed marvel way too much in this, too. They want to introduce legacy heroes, but this isn’t reality, it’s FANTASY. While new heroes are a good idea, they should mostly stand on their own merits not pull in or buy into 60 years of history of one well established character or another. IT is high time they recreated a new version of the heroes like they did in the sixties at DC, but totally disconnect them from the old heroes. instead we get 52 universes with stupid versions of the same characters. nothing new.

I’m stuck using Instacart fairly frequently due to having chronic health issues that make it difficult for me to go out a lot of the HOME NCAA UTAH UTES, plus no car. Instacart can be very hit or miss in my experience. Sometimes you get a great shopper who’s in and out super quick, finds everything or at very least suggests good substitutes, and everything’s good. Sometimes you get an absolute moron who makes you wonder how they dressed themselves that morning. Like, it’ll take them 3 hours to shop like 10 items, will make substitutions without asking (last time I had one of these guys, I ordered honey maple turkey, he got me honey glazed ham instead, which I cannot eat, but my order summary still said turkey, so he just couldn’t be bothered to ask and figured it’d be close enough), will make nonsense excuses (I had a guy insist he couldn’t get me stuff from the hot food counter due to covid regulations, despite the fact that I’d been getting tons of orders and it had never been an issue before or since), or will obviously just refund items because they couldn’t be bothered to look for them or ask someone. My advice if you’re going to use Instacart is to actually rate shoppers accordingly. I’m a nice guy and I always try to give 5 stars and tip well if they do a reasonably good job, because I know they need it right now and I don’t like giving bad ratings, but I’ve had to let go of that mentality. If you get bad service, give a bad rating. Bad shoppers should be held accountable because they’re wasting your money and they’re not going to stop their shitty behavior if they aren’t held accountable. It really is important for everyone to get rid of these shoppers who just don’t care and don’t put in any effort, because there are so many good shoppers who really need the money and actually will try their best for you.

It’s bad out. My tracks from just a few minutes ago are all but HOME NCAA UTAH UTES, but I know the way I’m going so it’s alright. We walk up the road to the cross street and quickly cross the street. It’s hard to see or hear anything so we can’t really tell if a plow is coming so we act fast to try and stay safe. Then we make it to the side street. Well needless to say that street hasn’t been plowed in ages. Snow drifts near my chest and no paths available, so time to trail-blaze and make our own! We need to make it maybe like 9 or 10 houses into the street but with snow like this we are barely progressing at all. I’m dressed for the conditions so I’m only getting tired. The man I’m helping isn’t doing great. Snow is accumulating on his face and he occasionally falls into the snow banks and needs to recover. When we get near houses that block the wind we take a break and relax because we need the energy to make it to this house and can’t give up. We’ll eventually through more struggles we eventually make it to the house. About 0.3 miles in 30 or so minutes. The person living in the house graciously lets us both in. I recover by warming up a little bit, the snow that accumulated on my just starts dripping and melting which I know is a bad sign for me so I make my stop short so I’m not drenched in water on my trek back. The man I helped is very thankful and gets comfortable and warm for the first time in hours. But I can’t stay long so I tell him I’m glad he is safe, thank the homeowner / renter / whoever the man that let me in was.
