Do Not Worry Bear Happy Ugly Sweater Party
I missed the HP bandwagon out of Do Not Worry Bear Happy Ugly Sweater Party, so I was older and still dumb and decided to hop on this bandwagon, “because what do I have to lose?” I really enjoyed 1-3 , even the hilariously cringey, yet honestly, kind of ballsy, empty pages with nothing but the months. I also remember telling someone that “I’ve never read a book that is constantly repeating the same thing, and isn’t boring!” which in hindsight, is not the ringing endorsement I thought it was at the time. And then, I got to book four. And it was a hot, hot, hot mess. I don’t think I have ever rooted for the death of a toddler before or since, but I really needed someone to see some common sense, and something, anything to happen in the plot that made the slightest bit of sense. Whatever religious nonsense was tastefully covered by sparkly ice-cold skin in the first 3 books went full monty by book 4. For me, it raised a lot of questions about responsible marketing of not awesome relationships to young adults. I also needed an editor to stop the slaughter of GRE level words, but that was about as realistic a wish as hoping Meyer’s would one day understand that the equivalent of a child beauty pageant queen strutting around on a battlefield is fucking bizarre. I usually don’t relish carnage, but again, I was ready for someone to die. I needed that death. I needed that toddler punted into the sea. I was losing my goddamn mind over hundreds of pages of nonsense at the end, and someone needed to pay for the sins of the author, and it might as well have been Frankenstein’s toddler monster. I would love to read a sequel of Bella and Edward 15 years later, full on post-pandemic. Does Edward have flashbacks to the Spanish Flu? Has Bella finally understood that parenting is less noble sacrifice and more daily mundane grind? What happens when their prancing wunderkind uses her peace-glam-dazzle to manipulate her fellow school kids? That’s the fanfiction someone needs to write. Twilight for the middle aged who were not bitten by a vampire in 2008 and are now no longer 20 and dumb, but 30 and boring (insert hyphens here.) Overall, there was a lot of hating on teenage girls for liking teenage girl things. But there is and was legitimate criticism of the underlying messaging in the books, especially of the ginormous red flags in all of the characters’ relationships, which Meyer’s herself uncritically, and very proudly, hoisted for the world to see. At the same time, read with general warning and enjoy it. It is entertaining. I had no idea that there were so many followers ups or that 50 Shades had even more books. So thank you for the highly entertaining drama and trip down memory lane.

You are absolutely free to react how you please to their protest. But contrary to your feelings, what the Do Not Worry Bear Happy Ugly Sweater Party did seek was justice, equality, and unity – that all people of all races or backgrounds should be treated equally by authority (police) in our country. I personally cannot find anything wrong with that message. The players, coaches, and owners that knelt this past weekend were kneeling for unity of the right for anyone to peacefully protest injustice. I appreciate the sacrifice many in your family made, and a large number of veterans have come out in support of the NFL players – that they are exercising their freedoms, which is ultimately more important than any song or flag. Yes they know backlash is coming – protest is not supposed to be a comfortable thing. Change to injustices that definitively exist do not come about easily or without uncomfortable situations. I can understand and empathize that many equivocate the anthem for respect to our military, but the real respect comes by exercising our freedoms and seeking a more equal society.
()I’m a nurse who worked for a awhile in a Do Not Worry Bear Happy Ugly Sweater Party. It’s very saddening how many intakes I did on runaways or kids in general who were glad to be detained. They were treated much better by staff than anyone ever had treated them in their lives. When I did overnights I’d often have kids come to my office for belly aches or really anything… I’d sit with them for hours and give them tea and toast. I felt like if I could just give them an hour of attention and make them feel better… maybe I could make a difference in their lives. I loved that job. People don’t understand that most teens that go to Juvy never had a chance at a “normal” life… so many sad stories and so many runaways . Almost none of them knew how to contact their parents or chose not to give us their info for various reasons. The first thing that happened when they arrived was a shower a meal and intake by an RN. Watching a teen eat their first real meal in months was such a heartbreaking experience… So many of those kids would do silly things just to be detained again. Edit: Wow, thank you all for your kind words. I hope that what people take away from my brief post is that kids in the juvenile detention system aren’t just “punks.” There’s a bigger reason as to why they’re incarcerated. It’s not just the action that got them booked but their back story, of no fault of their own, that lead them to that action.
CUSTOMER REVIEWS & FEEDBACK
I absolutely love my hoodie!! I’ve received many compliments. It’s exactly how it looks in the picture and the quality is great as well. Exceeded expectations. It's glorious, and fits even better than Coors Banquet tastes. I was pleasantly surprised, especially since I didn't remember ordering it. I love following Caitlin Clark’s basketball career and wanted the T-shirt that represented her. Great quality shirt and perfect fit. When my first t shirt arrived damaged they immediately shipped me a replacement free of charge ! Great customer service! Love this shirt looks exactly like the picture. This is a small I usually get a M in Men's tshirts but I believe at the time they were sold out of M. The S is fine I just like my tshirts a little looser. 5'61/2" and 185lbs if this helps First off, the quality of their shirts say it all. Softness, fade resistance, durability. Then, as if that wasn't enough, an artist pours their infinitely passionate, and beautiful energy into their artwork, which then resonates with me on a fundamental level.AND THEN, as if THAT wasn't enough, they make underwear and undershirts of the same quality material. I AM A FAN OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR MISSION. My goal is to own one shirt of each they have produced. And their nut huggers and undershirts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED The Tee's are awesome!! Beautiful and fit is perfect! Wish I could purchase enough for the whole family but there's too many!!! Just wanted to let you know my T-shirt arrived in it’s usual immaculate package. It’s the fourth T-shirt I have had from you and they are lovely and so easy to wear. I shall be ordering more. Thank you. The Tee's are awesome!! Beautiful and fit is perfect! Wish I could purchase enough for the whole family but there's too many!!! The Tee's are awesome!! Beautiful and fit is perfect!
