Her first-hand account of starvation was very impressive for me, because i never met a human that was so close to death by hunger. At some point, you go crazy and you start to eat anything, no matter what. And no, she never turned to cannibalism, that could be prevented, but… when you are down there, when you are dying because of starvation, it’s an option that you really start to consider possible.
