The big-market teams figured to be making runs at the small-market RFAs with impunity, and what Carolina did just completely wiped that out by restoring some type of equilibrium.

He can take a risk and come suns, guaranteed major playoff playing time in a team that would heavily utilise him especially under Vogel and then do a Bruce brown and go get his full MLE on a 4 year, he’s still only 27 so a team would be less worried about paying him a 4yr MLE contract, than they would at 29. Plus the chemistry is here and the boys could help in recruiting him. I don’t see him really hurting his chances of getting that TPMLE the year after this one anyways either. End of the day that’s a risk he would have to make (I personally wouldn’t make that choice) but he could easily up his carrear earnings by like 25-60 million compared to going and getting a TPMLE on another team and then riding out the rest of his career on contracts like that/lower than that, because nobody is giving a bench piece 4yr 60-100 million at age 30+ who knows maybe they are or there’s an even better opportunity idk atp I’m just copiuming my way into getting bulldog back in a suns uni.
