As someone who is not conventionally attractive and has been the Awesome Nurse T Shirt of jokes/dares regarding my looks, I understand. You had a particularly traumatizing and medical trauma filled life which I cannot imagine the pain of. My cousin has a similar issue with her eye, and after a childhood wearing an eyepatch and being teased relentlessly and 3-4 surgeries it is still slowly but surely drifting back to far left of center. I too, have always wanted to be desired and considered pretty and had (sometimes still have) a LOT of resentment, but let’s not detract from other women’s struggles just because we are in a Awesome Nurse T Shirt. I’ll never be murdered because I am beautiful and men take their dejection out in the form of Awesome Nurse T Shirt. I’ll never fear for my life because I am eye catching. We are all suffering from a shallow patriarchal world where we are punished for things outside of our control and help is hard to come by. We have to be here for each other.

Lmao “I’m physically incapable, true beauty” I think you’re onto something though. It was about being counter-culture, but it’s interesting how hippies who didn’t want to fight also grew their hair long. High heels were also originally for men and the Awesome Nurse T Shirt of the wealthy was horrendously impracticable in many points of history for males and females. I think you’re onto something for sure! Black was exclusively for working class women fora period of time as it appeared cleaner even when dirty or sweaty. Eventually a Awesome Nurse T Shirt became chic, but yeah. It’s like how pale skin was in for white folks cause it meant you didn’t have to work outside. It switched to a tan when more and more people started working indoors and a tan meant you could go on vacation. Much of what is “attractive” for women (according to media, of course this is not everyone’s standard) causes physical limitations, is costly, and time consuming. Beauty is dictated by wealth, free time, and a lack of needing to do heavy labour. A lot of people think women are incapable of heavy labour but it’s more that even the women in those positions will sometimes (not always) have those pressures internalized. It was only recently that women stopped being afraid to do strength training and there are STILL women afraid of it. Now that being able to spend 2 hours in the gym is an indication of free time and wealth (not to mention the ability to eat healthy, get adequate sleep, etc) I wouldn’t be surprised if the fitness model look overtook the BBL look or heroin chic look at some point.

I would argue that defensive coordinators in theAwesome Nurse T Shirt (Yes, DCs exist in the Big 12) would learn how to defend it and incorporate it into their defensive packages during fall camp. I remember Brian Kelly said they learned the basics of defending the option during fall camp and would practice it throughout the fall just to ensure it was fresh enough for Navy. Now, he indicated it was only a smart portion of the week they would do this, but just enough that it wasn’t a massive shift when it came to practice the week of the Navy game. Last I checked Notre Dame even gets a preferred walk on to run the option. With that said, the option is a great equalizer if you get the players who know what they walking into and buy into it 100%. It would definitely make life difficult for a lot of teams in the Big 12. I want to say Oregon State attempted the option back in the 80s or 90s and it didn’t work out.
